A gage cal calendar is a due list aimed at the tools that decide whether a part is in: micrometers, indicators, gage blocks, torque wrenches, lab ovens with a temperature sticker. Sort by date. Flag overdue. Send the tool out; do not argue with a dead sticker.
What belongs on a gage calendar
Anything whose reading you would defend to a customer. Personal tape measures usually stay off the list. Company 0–1 mics, height gages, thread wires, and the oven you use for a cure cycle stay on it. If you would not write the reading in an inspection record, skip the row.
Intervals are yours
Annual is a habit, not a law. A mic that lives in a chip pile deserves a shorter interval than one in a cabinet. Job Traveler does not pick your interval. It prints the date you typed. If you type nothing, the row sinks to NO DATE so you can see the hole.
Calendar vs certificate
The calendar says when it is due. The lab sticker and the report say whether it was in tolerance on the day they checked it. Mixing those up is how a shop treats a wall printout as proof. It is not. This tool is a document generator.
